LOUISVILLE, Ky. — In July 2015, a fire broke out at Whiskey Row, leaving several of its historic buildings severely damaged.
The area has since been revitalized and continues to add more businesses.
Ryan Cecil and Kenny Coleman, co-owners of Pursuit Spirits , started out as just a whiskey podcast and soon created a spirit of their own in their basement. Now, their dream is coming true: opening a brick-and-mortar on Whiskey Row.
“You look at the history of Louisville and how much whiskey was important to economic times, but also the city," Cecil said. "Then it kind of went away. Just to see it be revived from existing brands, but new brands, we really want to recreate that magic that lived here."
