LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — An Alabama paramedic arrested last week for several counts of possession of child sexual abuse material has been placed on administrative leave by his current employer in Middle Tennessee.
Court records show that Michael Patrick Achord, of Hazel Green, was arrested in Limestone County on five counts of possession of child pornography with the intent to disseminate.
Court records list the offense date as June 9.
Court records show that Achord filed a request to leave the state because he was working in Nashville at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center emergency room. A Madison County judge approved that request on Monday, Aug. 18.
News 2's sister station, WHNT, reached out to Vanderbilt Health to learn more about Achord's position, but officials said
