When will Giants fans see Jaxson Dart on the field again?

That’s what they’re all wondering coming out of Thursday night, when Dart started and played the first quarter of the preseason finale against New England. Once again, Dart mostly handled himself well, capping off an impressive first NFL preseason.

While being victimized by five drops during his four drives, Dart completed 6 of 12 passes for 81 yards, a 7-yard touchdown throw and a 99.7 quarterback rating.

So now what for hot-seat coach Brian Daboll and this win-starved franchise?

The Giants will start fading veteran Russell Wilson in Week 1, on Sept. 7 in Washington. But Dart’s strong summer means Wilson should have a short leash entering what surely will be his only season in East Rutherford.
