CHICAGO — The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering a $100,000 reward for information on two people believed to be responsible for a string of mail thefts on the city's Near West Side.
The USPIS announced Thursday that it was now offering a reward of up to $100,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of two people who they believe are responsible for several mail theft incidents in the West Loop and Fulton Market.
Officials did not provide details on when the incidents occurred, but said they all unfolded at residential buildings.
Inspectors say the first individual is believed to be a Black male in his 30s, with a stocky build and dreadlocks, who is also believed to stand between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10. • Photos provided by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service sho
