TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) -- The Florida Keys are known for having a wide variety of types of fishing. Amanda Holly had the amazing opportunity to fish with George Poveromo, world renown fisherman and host of his World of Saltwater Fishing Show going on 26 years, in Islamorada for an upcoming episode of George's show and for Reel Talk!

The first day was an offshore trip for tuna and mahi. Although they had bites of tuna, the sharks had other plans. They were quite successful with the mahi mahi, though. They trolled along grass patches and cast live baits near flocks of birds.

The next day they stayed inshore and fished the reefs for yellowtail snapper, which is always a fun family favorite!

It was a fantastic trip, and actually the second time Amanda has had the opportunity to fish with him. A
