LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A cement flower bed at a downtown Lincoln library was vandalised this week, police say.

The vandalism was reported on Wednesday around 12:45 p.m. at the Bennett Martin Public Library near 14th Street and N streets.

A person wrote on the cement flower bed in front of the library with blue and black marker, according to LPD. They caused about $100 in damage.

LPD said “vulgar language” was written along with two names: Penny and Gorgie.
