DALLAS — Dallas rapper BigXthaPlug has been arrested, according to jail records.

Dallas County jail records showed that Xavier Landum -- who goes by the stage name BigXthaPlug -- was booked at 2:20 a.m. Friday on charges of marijuana possession of less than two ounces and unlawful possession of a firearm. Both charges are misdemeanors, according to the jail records.

An arrest warrant affidavit said Landum, 27, was arrested Thursday night after police were responding to a car club meeting in the 7900 block of Great Trinity Forest Way in southeast Dallas. Police sources told WFAA that the event was a street takeover and that officers noticed Landum's truck, a Dodge Ram TRX, did not have a front license plate.
