LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — The Clark County coroner has updated its report on heat-related deaths so far into 2025, according to a report.

Thursday, the Clark County coroner said 114 deaths are heat-related. Last month, the previous report counted 29 deaths.

According to the latest report, a person as young as 28 years old died with heat as a factor and the oldest was 90. The coroner says 13 deaths are still pending the next notification of kin.

The county says people are more susceptible to heat when under the influence of drugs, including fentanyl. Illnesses, medical conditions, physical exertion, inappropriate clothing and dehydration could also be contributing factors.
