DALLAS - Dallas rapper Xavier Landum, also known as BigXthaPlug, was arrested and booked into the Dallas County Jail Thursday night, marking his second arrest in North Texas this year.

What we know:

Xavier Landum, 26, was booked into jail at 2:20 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 21. He was charged with possession of marijuana (less than 2 ounces) and unlawful possession of a firearm, according to jail records.

No bond has been set.

Earlier that night, Landum had an album release party for his new album, "I Hope You're Happy," at the Cash Cow bar in Deep Ellum. The album, which was officially released Friday, Aug. 22, features collaborations with artists like Jelly Roll, Luke Combs and Shaboozy.
