High school football is for real this week.

After an eventful Kickoff Classic preseason week the games that count began Thursday with Tohopekaliga and Orangewood Christian scoring home field wins .

The big games are tonight with every team in the Sentinel Super 16 in action. No. 1 ranked Jones, fresh off a 42-0 domination of Seminole in last weekend’s Legacy Classic exhibition, opens against another traditional power, Winter Park.
