Members of staff based at the main building at the Boots headquarters were sent home due to a burst water pipe. The burst affected the supply to the D90 building and staff were sent home on Thursday (August 21).
An unnamed Boots employee, based at the Thane Road site, told Nottinghamshire Live they were instructed to work from home on Friday, August 22.
A Boots spokesperson confirmed the nature of the issue and that staff had been sent home from the D90 building, the main administrative building on the 279-acre site.
However, members of staff at the rest of the site remained unaffected, Boots confirmed. The affected staff are expected to return to the site next week.
