ITV has unveiled a thrilling new crime series, featuring none other than Outlander star Laura Donnelly as the detective at the helm. The Dark, is based on GR Halliday's novel From the Shadows.

Scottish actress Laura is most famed for her role as Jenny Fraser in Outlander , whom she portrayed from series one to three. Fans will be buzzing with excitement to see her return to the small screen and take centre stage, in what promises to be a "chilling" new binge-watch.
