MADISON (WKOW) — 27 News' Pet of the Week is Yellow!

Yellow is a 10-month-old neutered male shepherd mix from the Humane Society of Jefferson County.

"Yellow is a sweet boy who believes life is best when shared with his favorite people," said HSJC spokesperson Madison Cummings. "He is playful and energetic, but also loves affection."

Yellow likes playing in the yard and cuddling up, Cummings said.

Yellow lives with hip dysplasia, which can sometimes be managed with regular low impact exercise and weight control, according to Cummings. The condition may require medical intervention in the future, she said.
