LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Nebraska football released its first depth chart of the season on Friday morning.
The competition for starting roles remains open at left tackle, right tackle, defensive end, linebacker, kicker, and kick returner.
Head coach Matt Rhule also provided updates on several injuries across the roster.
Redshirt freshman offensive lineman Gibson Pyle will miss the 2025 season after a knee injury that required surgery.
“It’s not an ACL, but a knee that, just, we’re going to have to go in and take care of,” Rhule said.
Sophomore defensive back Mario Buford is currently in concussion protocol, and his availability for the Cincinnati game is uncertain.
