KISS will kick off their “Kiss Kruise: Landlocked in Vegas” performances this November, but founding member Ace Frehley has made it clear that he’s not “on board” with the event.
During an interview with Guitar World , the singer and guitarist explained why he won’t be participating in the thee-day stint at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas — and it’s not because he wasn’t invited.
“They asked me and I declined,” Frehley told Guitar World. “There’s no way I’m gonna be involved with that, you know?”
“Their biggest mistake is that they should have done that at Madison Square Garden, not in Las Vegas in a 5,000-seater, or whatever it is,” Frehley added.
Frehley co-founded the band in 1973 and served as KISS’s original lead guitarist until 1982.
A 1996 reunion tour sparked his second stint with K
