One wants a drive-thru. The other went bankrupt.

Starbucks and Car Toys closed their doors at the shopping center at Sixth Avenue and Broadway on Wednesday.

“Starbucks is closing all non drive-thrus, it wasn’t anything specific about the space they didn’t like,” said JLL broker Jeff Feldman.

Feldman and colleague Sam Zaitz are marketing Starbuck’s 1,700 square feet at 575 Lincoln St. for lease. He noted the location’s visibility, proximity to other neighborhoods and heavy traffic around the area.

What will happen to Car Toys, however, is more of an open question.
