MILTON, Fla. (WKRG) — Milton Police Department officers arrested a man after he allegedly abused two non-verbal children with special needs, ages 4.
According to an MPD news release, 23-year-old Damond Bailey was charged with two counts of aggravated child abuse.
Officials said that Bailey was babysitting the children when the abuse occurred.
"The investigation uncovered extensive physical injuries to each victim, consistent with blunt force trauma," read the release.
One of the children had bruises on the face, neck, right forearm and left thigh, with "extensive" bruising on the butt, as well as a tear to the small piece of tissue that connects the upper lip to the gum.
The other child had bruises on her upper lip, left upper leg, shoulder and butt.
Bailey was granted a $5,000 bond.
