MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — Travelers planning on visiting the area for the Labor Day weekend can now make reservations at Chickasabogue Park's newly renovated campground, according to park officials.

The campground includes a new restroom, shower, and laundry facility, as well as 25 pads for RVs, 12 sites for hard-sided pop-up campers, and nine primitive tent camping areas, according to a Chickasabogue news release.

"We're delighted to expand access to one of Mobile County's greatest natural treasures with this RV campground," Mobile County Commission District 1 Commissioner Merceria Ludgood said. "We encourage everyone to come experience Chickasabogue Park, whether for day use or camping, and discover why it's one of Mobile County's greatest assets."

The park is located at 760 Aldock
