MONTVILLE - Maine State Police are asking anyone who witnessed a crash in Montville to contact them.

Just after 7 this morning Troopers responded to a motorcycle crash near the intersection of South Mountain Highway and Hogback Mountain Road.

When first responders arrived they found a 50-year-old man unconscious and in serious condition.

A spokesperson says he was taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor by LifeFlight .

According to the spokesperson, the incident is still under investigation and speed has been determined to be one of the primary causes of the crash.

They are asking anyone with information to contact Corporal Dan Grenier at 624-7076 ext.9
