CHARLESTON, S.C. (WITN) - A Greenville college student is celebrating a win on the national stage.

Noelia Velazquez, a Greenville native and sophomore at High Point University, has been crowned the Miss Teen All American during the 2025 pageant.

According to the release, Velazquez won her division during the national finals on August 2 in Charleston, SC. It says there were wardrobe events and a candid mental health Q&A.

The pageant cites Velazquez’s background and undergraduate major in journalism as one of her reasons for winning. She runs a social media called “Girl Strong by Noe” and a digital interview series called “Girl Talk by Noe” in which Velazquez aims to empower and inspire young girls.
