NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - North Charleston Police have arrested a convicted felon in possession of a handgun and drugs that were found during a traffic stop on Friday morning.
Ovalrald Demart Gadsden Jr., 25, was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession with intent to distribute marijuana, according to a press release.
Officers were making an active patrol on Deerwood Drive and noticed a Jeep with suspended tags. The driver pulled into a driveway and tried to exit the Jeep, but was quickly detained by officers.
