Disney's ‘Imagineer That!’ to return with robotic host Tom Morrow

A fan-favorite Disney show that gave viewers a behind-the-scenes look at upcoming projects is set for a comeback.

Walt Disney Imagineering and Disney Parks announced on Instagram that “Imagineer That!” will return Aug. 25 on the Walt Disney Imagineering YouTube channel. The short-form series originally aired on Disney Channel, hosted by robotic Tom Morrow.

Tom Morrow — a pun on “tomorrow” — debuted as the spacecraft mission’s director in Disneyland’s Rocket to the Moon attraction, later rethemed as Flight to the Moon, before being rebranded as Mr. Johnson in Mission to Mars in 1975, according to Disney Fandom.

Over the decades, he transformed from a human scientist into a robotic host, most memorably at Disneyland’s Innoventions, where he was voiced by actor Nathan Lane.
