A SpaceX rocket launched from Vandenberg Space Force Base was seen shooting across the Southern California sky on Friday morning.

The Starlink mission lifted off at 10:04 a.m. PT from Space Launch Complex 4 East, carrying 24 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit, according to SpaceX.

After stage separation, the Falcon 9’s first stage touched down on the droneship Of Course I Still Love You stationed in the Pacific Ocean roughly eight minutes after liftoff.

SpaceX said this was the 17th flight for the first-stage booster used on Friday’s mission. The veteran rocket has previously supported Crew-7, CRS-29, PACE, Transporter-10, EarthCARE, NROL-186, Transporter-13, TRACERS and nine Starlink launches.

Satellite deployment occurred a little over an hour after launch.
