DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- It's still summer outside, but for students on a traditional calendar, it's time to head back to the classroom.

The first day of school for traditional calendar students is Monday, Aug. 25.

Transportation

If you need to request bus transportation for your student, you can complete this form or call the Transportation Department at (919) 732-2531.

Certain students will be automatically assigned a seat for the coming school year:

Students who rode a bus during the last two weeks of the 2024-2025 school year;

and did not move to a new address;

and will not change schools for the 2025-2026 school year.
