SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KCTV) - Several Missouri investigators have been honored for their work in cases that put an end to a plot to murder federal agents and held several gang members accountable for a rise in violent crime.

R. Matthew Price, U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Missouri , says that on Thursday, Aug. 21, he recognized six local and federal law enforcement officers for their work in significant investigations.

Price noted that the recipients were honored with the 2025 Guardian of Justice Award during the 23rd Annual Law Enforcement Committee Training Seminar in Springfield.
