Barrington Police responded to a variety of incidents last week, including one for an irate bicyclist.
On Saturday, Aug. 16, a New Meadow Road resident was attempting to turn right onto County Road from New Meadow Road when a bicyclist allegedly crashed into the side of her vehicle. Police said the bicyclist fell to the ground during the accident. The resident told police the bicyclist then started yelling at her, picked up his bike, held it high over his head and then slammed it down onto the hood of her vehicle. He then got back on his bike and pedaled away, the woman said. When Barrington Police arrived they could see tire marks and dents on the hood of the car. Police searched for the bicyclist but could not find him.
