OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The rest of the afternoon will be partly cloudy and average in the mid to upper 80s. Heat index will be in the lower 90s making it feel like a typical summer day.
Storm chances are still possibly after 5 PM tonight. Overall the coverage and severity of storms still won’t be all that great but a few of the storms that develop could produce some severe wind gusts and large hail. There’s a Level 1 (Marginal) risk for severe weather this evening. A spotty storm or two could still linger overnight, but the severe risk will be low.
Clouds will decrease behind this broken line of storms heading into Saturday morning. Both the clouds and the humidity will move out quickly Saturday leaving us with a beautiful weekend to enjoy.
The cooler airmass will continue into the start
