PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (ABC22/FOX44) - Plattsburgh City police wrote Friday that three people connected with at least two burglaries at the YMCA on the Oval had been arrested.

According to authorities, the gym suffered a burglary on August 15 where cash was stolen by people wearing masks. Then, early on the morning of Monday, August 18, a local resident called to report another break-in.

According to police, the caller gave extra help to officers by staying on the line as police responded and gave real-time updates. Three people fled from the scene on foot as police arrived but were detained and arrested.
