BURLINGTON, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) - In one of the most heartwarming stories you'll ever hear, a 15-year-old Scout going for his Eagle badge is donating hundreds of LEGO sets to patients at the University of Vermont Children's Hospital: The same place where he's received cancer treatment for the past year.

Dozens of Scouts from Troop 611 and Pack 678 in South Burlington crowded the front of the medical center Friday afternoon, awaiting the arrival of their friend, Niko Chernyshov, and a trailer full of donations that will help him achieve Scouting's highest rank. In the back of the trailer sat 500 sets of LEGOs, all for the young patients inside, some of whom Niko has gotten to know pretty well over the past 15 months.
