COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office announced Friday that a sexually violent predator will be moving into the community.

According to deputies, Peter Maurice Adams is registered at 534 Loomis Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80906.

Adams was convicted in 2007 of sexual assault on a victim less than 15 and second-degree kidnapping, victim of sexual offense.

Deputies said Adams has complied with his requirement to register with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.

Adams is a sex offender whose past behavior has led him to be labeled a “Sexually Violent Predator” (SVP) by the State of Colorado. Accordingly, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is notifying the community as required by law and has undertaken the following tasks, among others:
