Duncan Pauline's wife has passed away at just 46-years-old - following a trip to the supermarket. Tragedy struck when he former cricket star's spouse had gone to get groceries earlier this week. ‌

The retired cricketer has spoken of his anguish, saying he has been left "absolutely devastated" after his wife Wiyada lost her life at a Waitrose supermarket. ‌

Emergency crews rushed to the store, in Esher, Surrey, at around 6pm on Wednesday after receiving calls of a "concern for safety" at the store, The Mirror reports. ‌

Both the high street in the town and the store itself were closed as medics tried to save her life, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
