Indoor pickleball facility opens its doors hoping to build a community

MADISON (WKOW) -- Pickleball enthusiasts now have a new place to get on a court.

Dill Dinkers is over on Tradewinds Pkwy in Madison.

The facility featured their 10 indoor courts just ahead of the weekend with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

According to the trust for public land, Madison is number five in the country for pickleball courts per capita.

"There's so much, so much unique elements to pickleball, and the community element is so truly unique to the game, and we want to be fostering that in the best way that we can," said co-owner Damon Colhella.

The two co-owners say they want the facility to be a place where people can come together after work with friends, or by themselves and be able to meet someone new.
