LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. — Three people behind a now-defunct animal rescue in Loudoun County will not spend any time behind bars after more than 100 animals were found living in squalor two years ago.

According to Loudoun County Animal Services, 52-year-old Nicole Metz, 53-year-old Kimberly Hall, and 24-year-old Alex Hall pleaded guilty to various charges, including animal cruelty, for crimes committed throughout 2022 and 2023.
