A Niagara massage therapist is facing multiple sexual assault charges.
Niagara Regional Police said detectives have been investigating reports throughout August of sexual assaults that occurred during scheduled massage therapy appointments at a wellness centre in Fort Erie.
Detectives in the sexual assault unit made an arrest on Thursday.
Ivo Ivanov, now 59, of Fort Erie was charged with nine counts of sexual assault and one count of sexual exploitation.
He was initially arrested and charged with one count of sexual assault in July.
Police this week did not specify the number of alleged victims.
Detectives did say they believe there may be additional victims and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
