ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A tech company’s expansion into a new building downtown represents growth in the defense and geospatial industry and along Tucker Boulevard.

Scale AI will move into the former Post-Dispatch building this fall, keeping its 250 employees downtown as the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency prepares to open its new NGA West campus in five weeks.

AJ Segal of Scale AI said the move is designed to create a collaborative environment.

“What we centered around is creating a workforce-focused space to collaborate together,” he said. “We’re really inspired by downtown St. Louis and their efforts to create a geospatial hub here.”
