WINTERVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - The 40th annual Winterville Watermelon Festival is underway and continues all weekend.

The festival features great food, rides, commercial vendors, music, and of course, watermelon.

Saturday features a parade at 10:00 a.m. and music from Tracy Byrd at 9:30 p.m.

Sunday is $25.00 wristband day.
