PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A fire is currently raging in a warehouse in Gresham, with black smoke seen from miles away, and authorities are warning the public to avoid the area.

The fire is located near Northeast Halsey Street and Northeast 190th Place, with multiple fire stations responding, officials said.

The Gresham Police Department is advising people to avoid the area while firefighters work to get the blaze under control.
