Oakdale grad Dom Nichols 'coming along' as defensive contributor at Michigan

Not long ago, Dominic Nichols was terrorizing opposing offensive players as a star defensive end at Oakdale High School.

The 6-foot-5, 261-pound Nichols was virtually unblockable for the Bears during his senior season in 2023. He set Oakdale single-season records for sacks (16) and quarterback pressures (28) and helped lead the Bears to a 14-0 record and the Class 3A state championship.
