(WFSB) - The Revolution Wind project has been issued a stop-work order by the Trump administration.

Revolution Wind was a subsidiary of Orsted, who released a statement on the matter.

They said that the project was 80% complete with all offshore foundations installed and 45 out of 65 wind turbines installed.

The order was issued by the U.S. Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Ocean Energy Management.

The project was the United States’ first multi-state offshore wind project that covered Rhode Island and Connecticut.
