ELLENSBURG, Wash. – Road work on Water Street in Ellensburg is set to continue, with permanent pavement marking installations scheduled to begin Monday at 8 p.m., weather permitting.
The work will take place south of University Way and is expected to cause delays, shifting traffic control and the presence of flaggers until about 6 a.m.
Once the work south of University Way is completed, the contractor will move to the north half of the project. The entire pavement marking process is estimated to take two to three weeks to finish.
The City of Ellensburg has identified another section of the road that requires repairs, which will be addressed as part of this project at no extra cost to the city.
Residents who have noticed a bump on the new asphalt on Water Street will be pleased to know
