As High School Boy’s Soccer kicks off on Monday, two Central Illinois powers are raring to get back on the pitch

( 25News Now ) - Summer has come and gone, and High School Sports are officially back in Central Illinois!

That includes Boy’s Soccer, which kicks off on Monday for Peoria Notre Dame and Washington. The Irish, who jumped up from Class 2A to 3A this past offseason, will open their season on the road at Quincy Notre Dame. The Panthers will open their season on their home turf against Peoria Richwoods.

Normal U-High Girl’s Golf had a strong day at Highland Golf Course, winning both the Lady Raider Best Ball Team title, and had the top two-some of Natalie Ocheltree and Sofia Ruiz.

Normal Community finished second as a team, and the runner-up two-some of Savanna Siegrist and Ryann Graham.
