ENCINITAS, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) -- U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents arrested two men in Encinitas on Friday morning.

Yohan Diaz and Limber Hernandez were taken into custody by immigration agents, according to a statement made by ICE San Diego Field Office Director Patrick Divver.

State Senator Catherine Blakespear, who represents the Encinitas area, said video of the arrest shows agents handling them brutally.

“ICE made another arrest in Encinitas today, and a bystander’s video shows this arrest being carried out with extreme force and brutality,” Blakespear said.

Divver’s statement alleges that Diaz has a criminal record of “child cruelty, assault with a deadly weapon, battery on a peace officer, obstruction of a public officer, vandalism, and DUI.”
