Notorious killer Erik Menendez has been denied parole more than three decades after he and his brother Lyle shot dead their parents in their Beverly Hills home.
The California parole board ruled on Thursday that Erik (54) should not be released because his continued misbehaviour in prison showed he was still a threat to the public.
“I believe in redemption, or I wouldn’t be doing this job,” parole commissioner Robert Barton told Menendez at the conclusion of the 10-hour hearing.
