U.S. Marshals arrested a 36-year-old Harrisburg man in Cumberland County this month after he injured three high school football fans during a botched robbery in West Virginia last year.

On Sept. 6, 2024, Julius White and two others were involved in an attempted robbery that led to a shooting. During the incident, White pistol-whipped the victim, resulting in a shootout in Martinsburg, West Virginia.

During the exchange of gunfire, stray bullets from White’s gun hit a spectator at a football game at Martinsburg High School. Two others at the game were injured by debris from the gunfire.

A warrant issued March 5 charged White with first-degree armed robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, malicious wounding and a felon in possession of a firearm.
