Authorities say one person is dead and one injured following a multi-vehicle wreck in Huntsville Friday night.

According to Don Webster with HEMSI, the wreck happened just before 8:15 p.m. Friday near Highway 53 and Blake Bottom Road. One person was pronounced dead at the scene and another was taken to Huntsville Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. That person is listed in stable condition.

The wreck remains under investigation.
