MEDINA, Ohio -- Here’s the latest news about college students from Medina County.

Baldwin Wallace University: Ella Clapper of Medina, Mary Gaughan of Brunswick and Lukas Purgar of Brunswick were among 24 Baldwin Wallace University students who took their learning off campus during the 2024-2025 academic year.

With support from the BW Center for Global Exploration’s Independent Study program, they created individualized immersion experiences across the globe.

Clapper, a graduate of Highland High School majoring in dual primary and primary intervention specialist, traveled to Ormskirk, England, for an individualized immersion experience at Edge Hill University.
