The Jonathan Chandler era in Montgomery Catholic football began with a blowout win.
In what is being dubbed as the "Battle of Vaughn Road," Montgomery Catholic defeated Saint James 32-6 at Montgomery Catholic on Friday, Aug. 22.
The win extends Montgomery Catholic's current win streak to 30 games, and the first for its new coach.
"It hasn't even hit me yet if I'm being honest," an emotional Chandler said afterward. "I'm going to enjoy this with my family and encourage our kids to enjoy this moment."
