ASTON — There might not have been a better way to start the 2025 football season than with the show put on by Penncrest quarterback Paul Graham Friday.

Graham was a dynamo as he tallied 206 yards on 19 carries for five touchdowns, and passed for 88 yards and another touchdown in leading Penncrest to a 40-18 season-opening win over Sun Valley.

As his father, Penncrest coach Paul Graham, would tell you, though, it was far from a one-man show for the Lions.

“The first week there will always be mistakes, so you have to navigate that. We overcame some of those early,” the elder Graham said. “It was nip and tuck there and then we were able to have some quick and fast things develop, which helped us come out on top.
