MISHAWAKA, Ind. (WNDU) - Mishawaka High School says no gun was found after a “disturbance” at Friday night’s football game that officials say stemmed from rumors about someone having a weapon.

In a Facebook post , the school says a group of juveniles who do not attend Mishawaka High School were escorted off campus and extra police officers were called in to help investigate.

After a thorough investigation, officials say no weapon was found and no gunshots were fired.

The school says it does not condone this type of behavior and will continue to work with the Mishawaka Police Department to ensure future events are “safe and enjoyable for all.”
