U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi says the U.S. Justice Department will “immediately appeal” Thursday’s federal judge’s ruling that found Alina Habba had no legal authority to serve as New Jersey’s U.S. Attorney.

Meanwhile, Habba herself in an appearance on Fox News following the ruling sharply criticized the decision and an order — temporarily stayed by the judge in anticipation of that appeal —disqualifying her from participating in any ongoing cases.
